Thank you so much for this video! I have a 1 year old cock-a-poo puppy who has way too much energy and jumps all over them! He will even launch himself off the ground to jump on people with all 4 legs! He loves people and is a great family dog but it’s a huge issue when we have friends and family over! Plus we have? a newborn baby girl we have to think about. I’m going to try this and see how it works. Thanks for the tips n the free e-book!

if your dog likes it when you hold their paws, just squeeze their paws ( the middle) until? they start to struggle

what you think i meant like actually hurt the dog?Take your thumb and index finger and squeeze the middle of your hand lightly.does it? hurt? no it doesn’t, it’s just likely that the dog won’t like it, jeesuz.

Digging is a very natural behavior for a dog. Put a sandbox in your yard and bury his favorite toys and bones. Go? out with your dog and start digging in the sand box. Act very excited about the toys and give him lots of praise for digging in the sandbox. This way he will love digging in his own special spot and will leave the rest of your yard alone.

Walk into they’re space. Walk into the dog fast and say OFF!!! in a calm stern voice. Use your arm to point over the dog but not in his face. Walking into a dogs space forcefully like that is a dominate behavior they will quickly learn? that they need to respect your space

I don’t agree with this, because if you’re expecting them to respect your space, you should respect their space. It’s hard to walk into a dog that’s larger than you, who’s also very dominant. I’ve found that simply ignoring the dog and pretending it’s not there – “no touch, no talk, no eye contact” – has worked tremendously. Just my experience though.?
